KATS (Korea Agency for Technology and Standards), as a Korean representative organization in ISO, is pleased to invite the 40th ISO TC184/SC5 meeting that will be held at Haevichi Hotel & Resort in Seogwipo City,
Jeju Island, Republic of Korea, Nov 21~23, 2022.
Jeju Island is a beautiful and unique place worldwide, holding the honors of the natural science area such as UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve (2002), UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site (2007) and UNESCO World Geoparks Network (2010). Jeju Island also consists of all elements for global natural sight theme, including island, volcano, waterfall, beaches, national park, cave and forest.
The meeting venue (Haevichi Hotel & Resort) is located at a cozy coastal resort, which is a perfect place when you need a small walk or refreshing mind during your meeting breaks.
During the meeting period, 4~6 working groups will be concurrently held to discuss standard development in the field of industrial automation system integration. In addition, Future Factory Techonology Conference is scheduled to be held on Tuesday(Nov 22th), which is an open session that aims to exchange latest information standards being developed and implemented between industry professionals worldwide and raise public awareness for standards.
KATS believes the ISO TC 184/SC 5 committee will have a successful meeting and all participants will be able to enjoy staying in Jeju.
